Spring Portraits at Slaughter Pen Farm

I know, that name doesn't sound like the ideal place for having nice spring pictures done. However, it's a beautiful farm, turned into a Civil War battlefield that offers so much - from houses, barns, fields to gravel road.
I had the opportunity to take spring pictures of this gorgeous girl. Doesn't she look like a southern bell?

Her mom made this gorgeous dress, and even the basket had a matching lining.
The photoshoot was in the late afternoon, right during the golden hours. The light couldn't have been more perfect.
My recent prop hunting in the previous weeks payed off. All the props I had with me got used and they fit in so perfect with the general impressions.
A few more of my favorites:

Looks like a fabulous place to take pictures! I've never heard of it before.

She is a "cutie-patotie" and I adore that last shot of her.
