1/60s, f/5.6, ISO??

Leaving the auto zone.... and used the aperture mode today. I wonder if that's the reason why it wouldn't give me the ISO info? I had a hard time again deciding which one of two pictures I want to put on here. I kind of like the general set-up from this one. The blue in the background was still laying on the table from last night's picture. I took so many pictures without it, but something is missing in those. In my favorite second one the oreos look somehow better.. oh well....

What kind of camera are you using? If you want full control you should use manual. I think when it is in aperture mode your camera chooses everything else for you one you pick you aperture. Always try to keep you ISO below 400, but some cameras are okay at 800. Try The Digital Photography school website for tips. It was very helpful when I started.

I totally agree with Aasiya on DPS. That is such a great website!
On your photo above, I would love to have a glass of milk with your oreo!!! ;)

Love the DPS - website. I haven't been on there in a while out of time reasons. I agree, there is so much great info on there!!

I first tried manual and those turned out way too dark. Since I didn't really have the time to play with the settings until they were right and I knew I wanted a low aperture, I had the camera pick everything else. But shouldn't it still show me afterwards on the exif info what ISO was used - even if I didn't pick it myself?

Noreen, the milk was right next to it:) Maybe I should have put the glass in the background - didn't think about that..
